Our Staff
We Love our staff here at Gainesville Academy! All our teachers are well educated and most have years of experience. We enjoy what we do and feel blessed to able to invest in the lives of young children.
Our Excutive Administrative Director has served over 20 years in a child care setting. She went to Lanier Tech and Truett-McConnell College where she recieved her degree in Early Child Care. She started out at Oakwood Learning Center in 1990 as one of the first Pre-K teachers in the state. She taught Pre-K for 7 Years before going full time at Jack P. Nix Primary School where she worked for 10 years. She has worked for Dr. Skilling for the past 3 years. She was the former Director at Oakwood Learning Center before Dr. Skilling gave her the opportunity to be the director over Gainesville Academy. She is excited to be here and works hard to make sure the center is ran right and with integrity.

This is Faith's second year as Administrative Director, but she has been in child care for 9 years and has worked with many different age groups including school-age, 3's, 2's, and infants during these years.
She attended North Georgia College and State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree. She has also had over 80 hours worth of training over the last 8 years in bright from the start approved classes. Faith has been married for 3years and has a 2 year old daughter and one on the way. She is very excited to be apart of the Gainesville Academy staff.

Meleah Adamson is our Assistant Director. She has been with us for a year and she can’t wait to see what Gad has in store for her. She has worked in childcare for almost 7 years. She has been married for 7 years and has 2 children. Laynee is 7 and David Reece is 3. She has tired other career choices but always comes back to child care because she has a love and a passion to teach Chirldren and to watch them learn and grow.

Mrs. Amber has worked in childcare for 10 years and worked in Pre-K for 5 years. She is married and has a 3 year old son. They have also 2 nephews that God has put in their lives. She loves going to church and spending time with the youth group. She also enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading, and most of all being a mommy. She is very thankful God has placed a love in her heart to be able to teach. The best part is when she sees the seed planted inside her students and watching it grow.
